Just a little more

Here’s another very poetic post from Denise Landim. It was very hard to translate and to keep the poetry but I think it was still worth a try because it shows a bit of my (our) soul longing for more…

“Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead” (Philippians 3,13)

From Lenise Landim
Just a little more lenience, a little more essence, a little more waiting. Just a little more courage, a little more truth and a little more faith. Just a little more patience, a little more of perseverance, a little more will. Just a few more inches of freedom, some yards more of confidence and  a few miles of struggle. In the measuring tape of life is always missing one more measure to reach the end. “Teach us to count our days aright, that we may gain wisdom of heart.”1 for us not stop when it’s missing just a little more of the path, a little more from the thorns, a little more of something else. Just a bit of everything, one more minute of hope, one more hour of determination. Just a little longer to realize that the road was broken. Just a little longer to see that the bridge fell, the curtain opened and the time ran out. Just a little more because He has done everything. If we are not going until the end will it be worth walking? Just a little more … we can not quit now.

I was just thinking early this morning about what heaven would be like. This is quite a good post for a Monday morning!🙂

“Just a little longer to see that the bridge fell, the curtain opened and the time ran out”…so she’s saying, “Press forward because our time in earth is short”?

      I’ll ask here!
      Thanks!

Com relação a frase: “Just a little longer to realize that the road was broken. Just a little longer to see that the bridge fell, the curtain opened and the time ran out.”

(Eu leio português razoavelmente bem porque eu falo espanhol.
